More about adopting
To ensure we have the best chance of a perfect match between our branch cats and kittens and their prospective owner(s) we make an appointment for one of our homing advisors to make a home visit. This is an important part of our homing process as this will help to place the right cat or kitten in the right home and is an ideal opportunity for prospective owners to discuss any concerns they have about adopting a cat or kitten and provide relevant support.
We always have older cats (anything over 3 years old) in our care. They are often overlooked in favour of the younger & cuter kittens & young cats by people who come to adopt a cat. Because of this, it is too often the case that the older cats are in our care for a long time. This can be traumatic for them, whatever the reason they came to us, most of them have known a settled home with a family & home comforts. They make such good companions. They have lots of love and affection to give and are very appreciative of all you give them. They are also well adapted to our modern busy working lifestyles and kinder to your furniture.
Please note that all our branch cats and kittens once leaving our care will have been:
- fully vaccinated
- neutered (adult cats)
- fully flea and worm treated
- covered by 4 weeks of free insurance with PetPlan.
After a successful home visit, you will be invited to view cats/kittens that reside in fosterer’s homes around the Cannock area. If you would like to offer a home to one of our rescued cats or kittens, please call our Adoption Line on 03000 12 12 12
